Project overview
Brand strategy, brand identity and a website for an educational center, which helps applicants enter better universities in Russia. Mayak – “lighthouse” in Russian – is the name of the company.
A clever, simple logo
Counter shapes of the cylinders create an image of a lighthouse, which connects the logo with the name of the brand. A bachelor’s cap on top of it hints company’s buisness — education. This crossover adds a level of depth to its simple design. Round composition and precise construction with minimum details enables consistent use of the logo on any formats and media.
Visual language which appeals to young audience
A vibrant accent color, contemporary sans serif typeface and a use of a mascot create a flashy, friendly image which draws teens’ attention. A mascot was developed after one of Mayak’s team members in collaboration with franklyshane. It further connects brand’s image with the team.
A fun website, that drives sales
The website carries on with Mayak’s tone of voice and visual language. Clear hierarchy of the elements and clean interface makes it easy to navigate. Eye catching effects, such as smooth animations and hover effects grab attention of the user and create an intaractive experience.
